Organizations such as Google, McAfee, Sucuri and Symantec keeps a record of the websites that contain Malware, Suspicious links or fraudulent content and these URLs are blacklisted by the organizations and warn users who visits the website. However, There are some third party applications that allows you to check whether your ISP, Website or IP address is blacklisted and blocked but It is always better to verify from the direct source instead of verifying through third party because sometimes third party applications may not be updated. Here, In this article I’m writing some simple tips to check Blacklisted websites.
Google Blacklist Check:
To check if any website is Blacklisted by Google visit:
http://safebrowsing.clients.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=’Enter Website URL’
In above link, put the website URL without quote after ‘site= ‘
McAfee SiteAdvisor Blacklist Check:
Put the URL under ‘view a site report’ section.
Sucuri Blacklist check:
Put the URL in the site scanner box.
That’s it, above mentioned techniques must be helpful in finding out a blacklisted website that contains malware, virus or any other suspicious thing which is not suppose to be there.
